Three years after the attack in Banjska, Kosovo commemorates hero Afrim Bunjaku who was killed in the line of duty

Today, in Samadrexha, Vushtrri, the Hero of Kosovo, Afrim Bunjaku, who was killed in the line of duty three years ago during the terrorist attack in Banjska, is being honored.
State leaders, together with the Kosovo Police, will visit Bunjak's family, to continue paying homage and laying the cornerstone of the obelisk at the place where he fell while performing his duty.
The terrorist attack in Banjska was led by Milan Radojicic, with the aim of annexing the northern part of Kosovo. Three years later, three of the members of the armed group are on trial for the criminal offense of terrorism, while 42 other people, including Radojicic, remain at large, mostly in the state of Serbia.
In commemoration of the fall of Afrim Bunjaku, the British embassy in Kosovo has asked Serbia to hold the group, including Milan Radojicic, accountable.
