Vlora Hyseni is not the first case! Even Fatos Klosi 23 years ago, the time when Altin Dumani represented the prosecution in court against the former head of SHISH who denounced Fatos Nano

Vlora Hyseni, now the former head of the State Intelligence Service, is accused by SPAK of having leaked state secrets from the institution she heads and sent them to controversial businessman Ergys Agasi, the latter also arrested by the Special Prosecution Office.

The investigations were conducted by two prosecutors, Bledar Maksuti and Altin Dumani, who yesterday successfully finalized the first phase of the operation, conducting searches in apartments and securing sufficient material that aggravates the criminal positions of the accused.

But even though the security measure for the head of the State Intelligence Service came as a big surprise, it is not the first time that prosecutor Altin Dumani has faced the heads of this institution in the courtroom.

23 years ago, the former head of the State Intelligence Service, Fatos Klosi, sat in the dock after Prime Minister Fatos Nano filed a criminal complaint against him and the prosecution was represented by Tirana prosecutor Altin Dumani.

As can be seen from this Klan television chronicle in 2003, at the opening of the trial, the prosecutor read the indictment against the former head of the secret services, according to which he had abused his office, causing the state an economic damage of 60 million new lek, from 15 tenders conducted through direct procurement.
