12 fires still active in Albania, 839 forces on the ground, the ministry takes stock

The Ministry of Defense has released a balance sheet of the fires that have been active throughout the country within 24 hours, from which it is reported that out of 45 fires, 12 are said to be still active, for which intensive work is continuing to normalize the flames.
It is reported that operations are continuing to normalize the situation, while it is reported that a total of 72 firefighting vehicles and 839 operational forces have been engaged, while 250 Armed Forces personnel, 5 helicopters and 2 "Air Tractor" aircraft have been included in support. Currently, 167 Armed Forces personnel, 3 helicopters and 2 "Air Tractor" aircraft are continuing operations in the field.
Operations continue in Dajt, Priskë e Madhe, Patos–Mallakastër, Krujë, Përmet, Gurë-Lurë, Devoll, Mirditë and Vau i Dejës, with coordinated interventions from land and air.

Fire situation over the last 24 hours
Over the last 24 hours, 45 fires have been reported, of which 12 remain active and 1 is under monitoring.
72 firefighting vehicles and 839 operational forces have been engaged in the operations, while 250 Armed Forces personnel, 5 helicopters and 2 "Air Tractor" aircraft have been included in support. Currently, 167 Armed Forces personnel, 3 helicopters and 2 "Air Tractor" aircraft are continuing operations in the field.

In all areas, the priority remains the protection of the lives of citizens, homes and residential areas, as well as the isolation and rapid extinguishing of active outbreaks.
Reports so far indicate about 418 hectares of burned area and 250 damaged olive trees.
AKMC and all Civil Protection structures continue to monitor and coordinate field operations.
