Serious crime in a family in Bulqiza. A 58-year-old man has been arrested by the police, after being accused of stabbing his 29-year-old son. The citizen with the initials BN was arrested
POLICE ANNOUNCEMENT
He injured his son with a cutting tool (knife), thanks to the timely response and intervention of the Bulqiza Police Commissariat services, further escalation of the incident was prevented.
The perpetrator is arrested and the cutting tool (knife) is seized. At around 23:00, on January 29, 2026, in the village of Ostren, it is suspected that after a momentary conflict, for weak motives, citizen BN, 58 years old, inside the apartment, injured his son, citizen KN, 29 years old, with a cutting tool (knife).
Immediately after receiving the notification, the services of the Bulqiza Police Commissariat went to the scene, where thanks to their immediate reaction and intervention, they prevented further escalation of the conflict, and captured and arrested the suspected perpetrator of the incident, citizen BN, 58 years old. The cutting tool (knife) used by the perpetrator was also seized.
The injured 29-year-old is in hospital, under the care of doctors, and his life is out of danger.
The procedural materials will be forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Dibër, for further action.
