Serious accident at Dajlan Bridge, a girl dies, the driver is in critical condition

A serious accident occurred a few moments ago at the Dajlan Bridge, where a BMW X5 vehicle left the road and fell from the bridge at a height of about 30 meters, ending up underneath it.

According to preliminary information, a girl died on the spot, while the driver, a young man, is in critical condition and was transported by ambulance to the hospital, still showing signs of life.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and intervened to remove the injured person from the completely destroyed vehicle. There is a flower shop under the bridge, but fortunately no other injuries were reported.

Police are at the scene and have launched investigations to clarify the circumstances of the accident. The identity of the victim and the injured are still unknown.

It is initially suspected that the accident may be related to recent works on the Dajlan Bridge, where one lane was blocked, causing heavy traffic in the area, all the way to the entrance to the Port of Durres.
