Accident near Elbasan Detention Center/ Three injured, one in serious condition

A serious road accident occurred in the early hours of this Saturday morning, about 9 kilometers from the city of Elbasan, resulting in three people being injured.

According to BW, the incident occurred at around 06:55 on the Bradashesh Roundabout – Balldren road axis, near the Detention Center overpass. It is initially suspected that the cause of the incident was an attempted overtaking, which resulted in the collision of two vehicles and then the loss of control, causing one of them to go off the road.

As a result, three people were reported injured, one of whom suffered multiple wounds and fractures, making his health condition serious.

The injured were urgently transported to the hospital for specialized medical assistance.

Police are at the scene.
