Artan Hoxha: Durim Bami "a mine of information", knows more than SkyECC. Why does he want to stay out of 313?

Journalist Artan Hoxha said that if the justice authorities manage to make Durim Bami a collaborator of justice, even more information than that revealed by the Sky ECC wiretaps could come to light . However, he expressed skepticism about such a development.

Invited to the show "This Week" on News24, Hoxha said that Bami is accused of events that occurred during the years 2019–2021, a period for which, according to him, prosecutors have provided evidence through Sky ECC data.

"He is a person exposed to many serious events. If he were to become a repentant justice official, there would be more information than has emerged so far from Sky ECC. But it is difficult, since he is calculating and has family members abroad," Hoxha said.

According to the journalist, Bami has previously cooperated with justice in the Doshi-Meta case and possesses considerable information about criminal events of recent years.

Hoxha also commented on Bami's request to be transferred to the Fushë-Krujë prison and not to prison 313 in Tirana, known as one of the high-security institutions.

He recalled that 313 also includes people with whom Bami has had conflicts in the past, including Emiljano Shullazi. According to Hoxha, this could be one of the reasons why he has sought another institution.

" In every prison you take him, a person will come out who has problems with him. The moment he is brought and taken to the security block and then to 313, which is known as the most secure, where Meta is also located, Emiljano Shullazi is located.
I remember that in the assassination attempt on Shullazi, Bami was accused. Bami has opponents in every prison. He requested the Fushë-Krujë prison because it is a small prison, there are other characters from his area and he feels more protected. Considering what happened in Peqin prison, it shows that if someone sets out to kill, they have logistical and financial power.
He also chose Fushë Krujë because his family is closer there, because his family could be hit and attacked while they run to meet him in another prison ," he said.
