Prime Minister Edi Rama, during his speech yesterday, during the meeting of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, spoke about the investigations that SPAK is conducting into AKSHI. Rama said that the former head of this institution, Milinda Karçanaj, lives in a rented house and does not have a car.

Journalist Anduena Llabani has stated that the former director of AKSHI lives in a rented house in the center of Tirana. But according to the journalist, Karçanaj has purchased a residential house for 500 thousand euros from one of the criminal groups involved in international drug trafficking.

" If we talk about Mirlinda Karçanaj, and if we ask if Rama is defending his own, I have said with full responsibility that Karçanaj lives in a rented house in the center of Tirana that costs a lot. Mirlinda Karçanaj has also appeared in a SPAK file related to the international trafficking of hard drugs by a group of traffickers, persons under investigation, and her name has appeared because as director of AKSHI she bought a residential house from one of these characters for 500 thousand euros, if this is called homeless then we know what we should call ourselves ," said the journalist.

Llabani further stated that SPAK has evidence that Karçanaj has placed numerous assets in the name of her brother.

"She rented the house to avoid such a scandal and, wanting to hide her wealth or the purchase of the apartment from a group under investigation, she made the last maneuver. There is evidence that Karçanaj has placed numerous assets in the name of her brother. I know that SPAK immediately after conducting a criminal proceeding, conducts a property investigation ," Llabani declared.
