OST warns of massive and temporary power outages in Elbasan, Gramsh and Librazhd! Here are the affected areas

Residents and businesses in Elbasan, Gramsh and Librazhd will face temporary power outages early next month, from March 2–5, 2026, due to technical maneuvers and security measures in the transmission network.

According to the official announcement, as part of the shutdown of the 400 kV Fier-Elbasan-Qafë Thanë Line as a safety measure, interventions will be carried out on several 35 kV and 10 kV lines, which will result in short power outages in some areas.

In Elbasan there will only be a 5-minute break on March 2–4.

Meanwhile, from March 2 to 4, 2026, between 08:00 and 17:00, the 35kV Line L30–66 Mjekës-Elbasan Wood Plant will be disconnected and grounded.

As a result, for a period of about 5 minutes (the time necessary to carry out the maneuvers), the following areas in the municipality of Elbasan will be without electricity:

In the city of Gramsh, there will be an outage on March 2 and 5, from 06:00 to 06:05.

On March 2 and March 5, 2026, from 06:00 to 06:05, the 35kV Line L30–78 Mjekës – Banjë will be disconnected to carry out the necessary maneuvers in the network.

They will be without power for 5 minutes:

-Gramsh and Cërrunje substations

-Banja Floating Photovoltaic Plant – Statkraft

-HPPs: Sotiraj, Lenie, Mivas, Tërvol, Kabash, Kërpicë, Storë, Pisha

Also, the outage will affect a large number of neighborhoods and villages in the Gramsh district, including: Çekin, Uzina Çekin, Xhile Liçi Neighborhood, 18 Gushti Neighborhood, Holta Neighborhood, Llapushaj Neighborhood, Konvikti, Officers' Neighborhood, Trashovicë, Tunjë, Kushovë, Pishaj, Skënderbegas, Kodovjat, Kukur, Lenie, Cërujë, Qerret, Sult, Katërlis, Kutërqar, Dushan, Zgjup, Kotorr, Ranxhë, Lleshaj, Kabash, Tërvol, Drizë, Gjergjovinë, Galigat, Bizhdan, Gostimë, Shtëpanjë, Klos, Floq, Banja e Vjetër, Tregan, Gjinar, Shënavlash, Valesh and other surrounding areas.

There will be a power outage in the city of Librazhd during the day on March 2–4.

Also, on March 2–4, 2026, from 08:00 to 17:00, the 10kV Line of the F7 Feeder of the Kombinati i Drurit Substation will be disconnected and grounded.

As a result, during this time, several areas in the Librazhd district will remain without electricity:
