UN chief Antonio Guterres calls for immediate ceasefire between Afghanistan and Pakistan!

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres called for an "immediate cessation of hostilities" between Afghanistan and Pakistan, which declared open war on its neighbor after an Afghan attack on the border, his spokesman said.
"The Secretary-General is deeply concerned about the escalation of violence between Afghanistan and Pakistan and the impact of this violence on the civilian population," Stephane Dujarric told reporters.
"It calls for an immediate cessation of hostilities and reiterates its call on the parties to resolve their disputes through diplomatic means," Dujarric added, expressing particular concern about the humanitarian consequences in Afghanistan, where nearly 22 million people depend on humanitarian assistance.
The incessant bombing between the two countries has left hundreds of victims and injured so far.
