Serious in Belgium! Albanian taxi driver shot dead

A 45-year-old Albanian man lost his life on Friday evening after a shooting incident in the village of Larum in the city of Geel, Belgium. The victim has been identified as citizen Marko Beka, a resident of Geel and a taxi driver by profession.
The incident occurred around 9:00 PM, near a park behind the church in the center of the village.
According to Belgian media and authorities, it is suspected that everything started after an argument that got out of control between the taxi driver and some customers. After the incident, the perpetrators fled on foot and are still being sought by police.
Eyewitnesses saw the 45-year-old lying on the ground and immediately notified emergency services, but unfortunately he died from his injuries.
The area was cordoned off for several hours, while investigators, the crime lab, and the medical examiner arrived at the scene. Investigations are ongoing to fully elucidate the circumstances of the incident.
Marko Beka was the father of three children, aged 5, 11 and 17, and ran a private taxi business in Geel.
His wife, Izabela, describes him as a calm, kind and very social man, loving the community and without conflicts with anyone.
Belgian authorities say no suspects have been arrested yet, while appealing for information that could help identify the perpetrators. / Boldnews
