Illegal constructions/ The chief of the Saranda Police Station, the crime officer and a specialist are arrested

An action carried out by the Police Supervision Agency  in the Saranda and Ksamil area regarding police connections to cases of unauthorized construction  has led to the arrest of the head of the Saranda Police Commissariat, Gëzim Bashllari.

A crime officer and an area specialist in Saranda have also been arrested for abuse of office.

According to sources, the focus of the investigations are officers suspected of being involved in or favoring illegal construction in these coastal areas.

Arrests and other procedural measures are also expected against employees of the Saranda Police Commissariat, who are suspected of having played a role in allowing or not striking these buildings.
