The police have announced a search for Trifon Murataj, the administrator of the company 'Banaking', for the criminal offense of "Violation of occupational safety regulations".
His wanted announcement was made after an employee of his company, which operates in the port of Durres, accidentally injured his eye while working.
Regarding a news item published in the media, regarding the injury of a citizen at work, we would like to inform you that:
On 18.02.2025, citizen AG, 48 years old, resident of Durrës, employee of a company operating in the port of Durrës, was accidentally injured in the eye while working.
In this case, the investigative group immediately went to the scene of the incident, which carried out the first actions to clarify the circumstances and identify the responsible citizens.
The procedural materials for the case were referred to the Durrës Police Commissariat's Crime Investigation specialists to the Durrës Prosecutor's Office on 18.02.2025.
Following the actions, on 18.02.2025, citizen TM, 56 years old, resident of Tirana, the company administrator, was declared wanted for the criminal offense of "Violation of occupational safety rules".
