The 35-year-old woman was arrested and handcuffed while driving a vehicle armed with a pistol.
1 firearm, pistol, combat ammunition and vehicle were seized.
Continuing the work of providing information and cracking down on cases of illegal possession of weapons, the services of the Mirdita Police Commissariat, based on information obtained that a female citizen was circulating armed, organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Crossroads".
As a result of the operation, near the Kthella intersection, towards the entrance to the city of Rrëshen, the Police services found a "Golf" type vehicle, in which the armed citizen was suspected of being traveling, and stopped it for inspection.
During the search of the vehicle, the Police services found and seized, as material evidence, 1 firearm, a pistol with a comb and combat ammunition.
At the end of the procedural actions, citizen JB, 35 years old, resident of Rrëshen, Mirditë, was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offense of "Unlicensed possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".
The procedural materials were passed on to the Lezha Prosecutor's Office for further action.
