Murder of Pavlin Preka in Shkodra, two people arrested after 10 months

Shkodra Police have solved the murder of Pavlin Preka, which occurred on February 27, 2025 in the village of Guci e Re, after about 10 months of investigation.

According to the official announcement, two people have been identified and arrested, suspected of being the perpetrators of the incident:

Klaudio Lisaj,  20 years old, resident of the village of Mgull

Vasel Koçeku,  43 years old, resident of the village of Hot i Ri

The police operation codenamed "Weight of Crime" is finalized.

As a result of the police and investigative work of the Shkodra DVP services, under the direction of the Shkodra Prosecution Office, the murder of citizen PP, committed on 27.02.2025, in the village of Guci e Re, has been solved.

Two citizens, suspected of being the perpetrators of this murder, were arrested and placed in custody.

The operation was carried out with the support of the National Security Force, the Shkodra Unit, the "Eagle" Special Force, the services of the Shkodra Police Commissariat and those of the Shkodra DVP.

As a result of intensive operational and investigative work, carried out by the structures of the Shkodra Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the Shkodra Prosecutor's Office, the National Security Force, the Shkodra Unit and the "Eagle" Special Force, with the aim of clarifying the dynamics and authorship of the murder of citizen PP, carried out on 27.02.2025, in the village of Guci e Re, the police operation codenamed "Weight of Crime" was finalized.

As part of this operation, the following citizens were identified, arrested and placed in custody:

The procedural materials were referred to the Shkodra Prosecutor's Office for further action.
