Residents protest at the Presidency of the Assembly against the territorial reform, oppose the merger of municipalities

Citizens have gathered in front of the Assembly Presidency. Numerous protesters from municipalities who oppose the territorial reform proposed by the Socialist Party have gathered in front of the building.

The protesters have organized, and the Laws Committee will discuss this issue.

The proposed reform has been opposed for some time. Residents of Divjaka have also opposed the SP proposal, organizing daily protests and demanding that Divjaka become a separate municipality. Several other municipalities have also taken the same stance.

Among some of the prominent banners in the protest, those seen from the Municipality of Selenica, Fushë Arrësi.

"Fushë Arrëzi will not surrender", "Don't touch Selenica", "Don't take away our voice, listen to the citizens", "Our identity is not negotiable", are some of the messages conveyed by citizens through banners.
