Kosovo Assembly approves draft law on Specialized Chambers, MPs vote unanimously

The Kosovo Assembly has approved in principle the draft law amending and supplementing the Law on Specialist Chambers and the Specialist Prosecutor's Office.

The draft law passed after review and debate in the extraordinary session of the Assembly, paving the way for the continuation of parliamentary procedures for its review.

The initiative was supported by 91 MPs who participated in the vote, while the draft law was previously approved in the Legislation Committee.

Outside the Parliament, a protest by KLA veterans and supporters of the initiative continues, which during the session was accompanied by tensions and the throwing of pyrotechnic devices.
