Did Berisha and Rama meet in Rinas? The leader of the DP replies: I don't even dare to look at him

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has denied having had a meeting with Prime Minister Edi Rama at Rinas Airport, the day the head of government returned from the United States, where he had participated in the proceedings of the UN General Assembly.

Berisha, who appeared this Monday at SPAK as part of the "compulsory appearance" security measure, was asked by journalists about a possible meeting with Rama at the airport.

He said that at the time he was traveling to Strasbourg, while Rama was returning from the US. Berisha categorically denied any meeting between them, stating that he would have no reason to meet the prime minister.

"I was going to Strasbourg, where I had great meetings. He returned from America where he met Taulant Balla. Can anyone imagine meeting a man that no one knows? Never, ever. I don't even dare to look at him," Berisha said.
