Bayern Munich "picket" Dani Olmo, 90 million euros for the Barcelona star

Bayern Munich are preparing to make a move for Dani Olmo, with the German club considering an offer of around €90 million for the Barcelona midfielder, German media report, as quoted by Mundo Deportivo.

The Bavarian giant has identified the Spanish international as one of the options for strengthening the offensive department and is considering the possibility of attempting to transfer him in the January transfer window.

Bayern are looking for more creativity and flexibility in the final stages of the game, and Olmo is seen as a player who can offer both. He can play as an attacking midfielder, on either wing, but also in the role of a false nine. For the Germans, another point in their favour is the experience that the 28-year-old has in the Bundesliga with RB Leipzig.

However, Bayern Munich have not yet submitted an official offer to Barcelona. The German club are working on the details of a proposal that could be around 90 million euros, before deciding whether to take the concrete step.

On the other hand, there are no indications that Olmo wants to leave Barcelona. The Spaniard has a contract with the Catalan club until 2030 and continues to be part of coach Hansi Flick's plans, even though he is competing with Fermín López for minutes.

Olmo has played in all eight of Barcelona's matches this season, but has only accumulated 342 minutes so far, registering three assists.
