Ukrainian delegation to the US/ Zelensky: We hope to sign security guarantees

A Ukrainian delegation has left for the United States for new peace talks, as part of preparations for the World Economic Forum to be held next week in Davos.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed hope that security guarantees from the US will be signed during the meetings in Davos.
"I hope that US security guarantees will be signed in Davos," he declared during a joint press conference with Czech President Petr Pavel.
According to reports, Zelensky stressed that Ukraine and the United States do not always share the same positions on some issues, but described this as understandable.
"We are not always on the same side on some issues. This is understandable, because I protect the interests of our state," he said, adding that cooperation with Washington has nevertheless been "very good."
He announced that Kiev expects documents related to security guarantees and the so-called "Prosperity Package" to be signed during meetings in Davos, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum.
