The wonders of Albanian football, the champion team announces its withdrawal from the championship

The women's football fraternity is expected to no longer participate in the Albanian championship, in an unexpected development that is expected to be made official by the club's leaders.

According to reports, the leaders of the Shkodra team have planned a media briefing at 11:30, where the withdrawal from the championship is expected to be made official.

The news is a strong blow to women's football in Albania, as Vllaznia is one of the most successful teams in the history of this sport in the country.

The Shkodra team has been declared champion of Albania 13 times and has also represented the country in the European arena, reaching the group stage of the Women's Champions League.

In Shkodër, Vllaznia has brought over the years some of the biggest names in European football, having faced teams of the level of Real Madrid, PSG, Chelsea, Juventus and Inter.

The possible withdrawal of Vllaznia would be a significant loss for the Albanian championship and for women's football in the country.
