Political scientist and lawyer Alban Daci, in an interview with Euronews Albania, commented on the movements of Lulzim Basha, the political leader of the Euro-Atlantic Coalition in the May 11 elections, emphasizing his political consistency and clear decisions in relation to Berisha and the elections.
Daci stressed that Basha's critics were wrong with their predictions of his return to Berisha or his non-participation in the elections. "Basha is today among the 5 serious political entities participating in the elections," he said.
He added that Basha has the strongest and most dignified stance towards Berisha today, even clearer than Edi Rama himself. "If there is a person who has remained coherent in very difficult political situations, this is Lulzim Basha," Daci declared, emphasizing that Albanian politics needs this leadership model.

You have said that Berisha's suspension was a fake, because that is how it should have been after the agreement with Basha and Berisha, and you have seen that the most dignified positions in the political confrontation with Berisha, today in politics are not even Rama's, but Basha's. So, if there is a person who has remained coherent, in very difficult political situations, but who has remained coherent in what he has said, in what he has done and in what he has decided, this is Basha. You have to say this, the one who wins behind, the one who does not win is another matter. "But we also need this kind of model that Albanian politics has been lacking, " Daci said.
