The US stance comes 5 days before the parliamentary elections in Kosovo.
We recall that the Kurti 1 government was overthrown 5 years ago by Donald Trump in his first term and the US is determined not to cooperate with the most anti-American politician in Albanian territory, as they consider him.
Meanwhile, Vetevendosje activists justify themselves by saying that Kosovo is sovereign and the US should let the people elect its leaders.

3- If the US did not recognize Kosovo as a state, would its sovereignty exist or not?
