"The sun will rise again"/ Krasniqi visits Thaçi in The Hague: He was as always, calm and unwavering

The leader of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Memli Krasniqi, yesterday paid another visit to The Hague, where he said that it is a place that represents a new battle for Hashim Thaçi and our liberators.
Krasniqi wrote on Facebook that The Hague is a front where freedom has been defended differently for five years now - with perseverance and dignity, KosovaPress reports.
"President Thaçi, as always, calm and unwavering. He knows that the truth cannot be imprisoned forever. With the same energy and optimism, he spoke about Kosovo, about our path and about building a better future – which always requires sacrifice and unwavering commitment.
"No complaint, no sign of bitterness – even though he is unjustly denied the right to see his ailing father. Only an unwavering faith that justice, however delayed, will triumph. And when the night passes and the shadow of injustice collapses – with the light of truth and freedom – the Sun will rise again," he wrote.
Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi are facing a protracted judicial process.
They have been in custody in The Hague since 2020, while their trial began in April 2023. Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi have pleaded not guilty to all alleged war crimes charges.
