This Thursday afternoon, the next hearing was held at the Basic Court of Pristina, against Naim Murseli, accused of ordering the murder of his wife, Liridona Ademaj.
During the hearing, Murseli was confronted with photos from the scene of the crime, where Liridona Ademaj is seen shot dead in a car, covered in blood. The images were presented as part of the evidence in the trial.
In his testimony, Murseli stated that on the night of the incident, an armed man demanded their phones and money, initially describing the incident as a robbery. He said that the couple's two children were also in the vehicle.
"One child was sitting behind me, the other behind Liridona. If I remember correctly, they were not tied up. They came out of the same door," Murseli declared.
During the review, images from the scene were also presented, including children's toys left in the car.
Murseli was also asked about the purchase of the weapon from the accused Granit Plava. He said that he had bought it with the reasoning that Plava would later sell it for double the price. Asked if he was aware that the weapon was used in the murder, he replied : “Yes” .
According to investigations, it is suspected that Murseli paid around 30 thousand euros for organizing the murder.
Liridona Ademaj, a mother of two, was brutally murdered on the evening of November 29, 2024 in Pristina. Initially, it was said that she was traveling with her husband and two children in their car when masked men robbed them and, during this act, killed Liridona.
However, it later emerged that it was her husband who had ordered her murder. The latter, along with the couple's two children, fled the vehicle, leaving the 30-year-old in the car where the murder took place.
Naim Murseli, the victim's husband, Granit Plava, the person accused of the murder, and Kushtrim Kokalla, a member of the KSF, and Tome Dodaj are the four arrested in connection with this event.
