"The Port of Durrës, a major money laundering center...", Rama to the French media: There are problems everywhere!

Prime Minister Edi Rama has given an interview to the renowned French weekly magazine, "Le Point", where he spoke about a number of issues.
Among other things, French journalist Anne Nivat pointed out to the government the European Union's concern regarding Albania's efficiency in the fight against corruption and money laundering.
She even described the port of Durres as a major center for the circulation of dirty money in the open, embarrassing the prime minister, who responded that there are similar problems in Marseille, Rotterdam, Antwerp, or Barcelona.
"These kinds of unfounded claims, presented as truth, are a disease of our world. Durrës is the second largest city in the country, but its port is not a major open-air money laundering center in itself. The problems in Durrës are much less significant than elsewhere. Aren't there similar problems in Marseille, Rotterdam, Antwerp or Barcelona?" Rama replied.
