"They tell me that so-and-so has been given a visa", Braçe reacts after Rama's meetings in Pogradec: I will go to the end of the race for Mayor and I will win

Braçe talks about rumors that various names within the SP have been oriented or communicated to that they could be candidates for mayor.

Referring to the race for Tirana, where Prime Minister Edi Rama has long announced his support for Ogerta Manastirliu, the socialist MP has requested that the candidacy not be determined simply through an "announcement", but through a process where socialists vote.

"I don't prefer to be an announcement," declares Braçe, emphasizing that the candidate for Tirana must emerge through a vote and a democratic process within the Socialist Party. According to him, the fact that there are several alternatives for Tirana is a positive signal and could bring energizing to the party structures.

The full statement: "They tell me that so-and-so was given the go-ahead to be mayor, the pistachio was told "yes, you will be made", the others were told "yes, start working because you have the opportunity to be made and you will be made".

And very well, there is nothing better than the SP having alternatives for the Tirana Municipality candidate. I am one of them and I did not wait for someone to tell me to start working.

I am trying to understand the city, to say what I think about the city, and to do my best to make this city as livable as possible, clean, green with services and a mayor in charge from morning to night.

The fact that there are several alternatives is a very good signal, because it shows that there may be energisation. What I think has to do with the fact that I have said. I do not prefer to be an announcement, I do not think that the socialists will vote for an announcement as a candidate for the Municipality of Tirana.

"I don't think the citizens of Tirana should vote for a notification. This is the difference, with a democratic process where everyone is subject to voting, Tirana gets the right person from the SP through voting, not through notification."
