Milan-Inter/ Three goals in 22 minutes, Bastoni brings the Blues back into the game
2026-10-31 21:17:00 / SPORT
The San Siro stadium is ready to host another big clash between Milan and Inter.
The city derby comes as part of the 10th week of Serie A, with both teams taking to the field with important objectives in the race for the championship lead.
Milan, led by Rúben Amorim, are desperate for three points after a 4-2 defeat to Bologna in their last match. Another negative result would make it harder for the Rossoneri to secure a place in the Champions League, while the pressure on the team has increased after the public outcry from president Gerry Cardinale.
On the other hand, Cristian Chivu's Inter come into this match as one of the undefeated teams in the championship. The Blues have the opportunity to break away further in the standings from their city rivals, so a victory in this match has a special importance.
Chivu has surprised with his selections, using Denzel Spence and Andy Diouf from the first minute. Also, Petar Sučić will play in a more offensive role, behind striker Marcus Thuram.
Meanwhile, Milan returns Luka Modrić, Christian Pulisic and Adrien Rabiot to the lineup, with Gonçalo Ramos leading the offensive department.
