Dashamir Shehi is running in the "Right 1912" coalition to receive another mandate as a member of parliament.
Invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, Shehi said that Rama should leave power after 12 years because he has damaged Albania.
He stated that he is running on an open list, and in case of loss, he will again leave with honor.

Ylli Rakipi: Why did you leave the Democratic Party, because there could have been a safe place on the list?
Dashamir Shehi: Since the 2021 elections were lost, I have thought that the opposition should take a different trajectory. I hoped that something would be produced from the great chaos, but it produced what we have today. These elections need to produce something new, a new political trajectory, new characters. This work, this kind of sacrifice is worth it. With this other part, they have separated us from important things, the approach to the electoral law, the constitutional and political system, they made a cheap deal with the SP to secure themselves in the closed lists and betrayed the opposition issue, which needed another list, maximizing the opposition vote. Like all the factors, they chose the path that whoever is with me, we put in the small tent. The day has come that this one has gone too far for 12 years. I think that only these alternative forces can get the vote that neither Berisha nor Rama gets.
