DP protest/Testimony of the 14-year-old after leaving the police station: I was in the mosque, 5 civilians came and handcuffed me...
The 14-year-old boy who was escorted by police after the violent Democratic Party protest in which 11 police officers were injured has left the premises of Police Station No. 1, explaining how he was captured by law enforcement.
"I was in the mosque. I was washing my face from the gas. I ran away and the police were there. 5 civilians came to me. They turned my hands, put handcuffs on me, sat me down under the mosque, shot me and brought me here. I stayed here for 2-3 hours. I gave them my last name and they made some papers. I don't know what they were doing! Some deputies came to me, what are their names, and they took me out."
Minoreni was among 23 Democratic Party protesters who were escorted to Police Station number 1 after, according to the police, they were found to have thrown stones and hard objects at law enforcement.
