Prime Minister Edi Rama convened the Socialist Party assembly in Dibër today. During his speech to the socialists, the head of the Albanian government spoke about joining forces in the countryside, as far as the agricultural sector is concerned.
He mocked the opposition for demanding that the government block the integration process, while adding that through lies and accusations, it leaves nothing unsaid about its own country.
"We have the burden of 83 mandates on our shoulders, which all have their value. I want to tell you that the 3 winning mandates of this district are 3 mandates that shine not simply as 3 mandates, but for the result they represent, a spectacular result. Arbri Road is no longer a project or a promise, but a work that belongs to the mandate we left behind. Today, the first fruits of Arbri Road are beginning to be felt. Real estate has increased in value, land has increased, the demands to build in Peshkopi have increased today. I am confident that these years will be years of another renaissance of this area. I am convinced that a trend will appear here as well. Dibra is very close to the capital, the green cushion of the capital. The works of Albania are continuing without stopping. Our national mission as socialists, which is the mission to take Albania and seat it at the common table of Europe, are in the final phase. The works of Albania is going in the right direction. They are starting to contribute.
This is the mission of the SP to lead Albania in the right direction. This is a phase that requires a correct understanding of what awaits us. Therefore, it is important that we enter the door of Europe, blessed or cursed, as it will be that day. Now is a tangible deadline and there is no food security and there are products that are without standards. This requires great commitment and security from everyone. We are in conditions where as the SP we have strengthened our strength, we are hegemons, since only the SP can carry out this national mission. No other pseudo-political force has the capacity to do this if the SP does. You must reject the mud and scum that rises every day and night against us. You must be ready to respond to those poisons that come and are spread in the air, through every pot", he said.
Rama expressed his views and foreign friends told him that they were surprised by the fact that representatives of the people, even though they are in the opposition, have not left a bad word unsaid about their country.
"This leads to blindness, to things that are impossible, how can a public person, who has something no matter how small in his hand, degrade himself to the point of rushing to his own country, not us, his own country. It happens to me, I don't know what to say, but I feel bad. Foreign friends tell me, how is it possible, they come from Albania, people, representatives of the people, even though from the other side, and they leave nothing unsaid, they don't stop asking us to block Albania. To go and say, block Albania, no one else has done this. We should make sure that those who have given us support know the truth," he stressed.
