She came to the Parliament podium with a dress in her hand, Sula: I bought it

Democratic Party MP Dashnor Sula caused a heated debate in Parliament during the last session after he pulled out a dress in the middle of the hall, as a symbol of the misuse of public funds by senior officials and their families.

Invited to the News24 studio, Sula explained his gesture, stating that he had bought the dress himself for 45 thousand old lekë and that he had done this act to show the contrast between ordinary citizens and the family members of politicians in power.

"I'm the last one to deal with a politician's wife, but she is something public. It was a dress that Dhurata Çupi and I bought to show that it is a garment that ordinary people use, while the wives of politicians in power are ashamed to wear it. I wanted to demonstrate this," said Sula.

The MP announced that after the session, he donated the dress to a Parliament employee, who accepted it with great pleasure.
