But in reality, this case, more than a judicial chronicle, is a pure and important political story, which is worth analyzing as such, beyond the letters sent by Bardhi or updated by the prosecutors in the case.
Sali Berisha's speech is not a party act, it is a geopolitical offensive of the doctor against the world superpower. No matter how much they come out today and comment on current developments, if we go back in time, the doctor started the speech as a challenge to the US government. Which had declared him Non Grata for Grand Corruption, obstruction of justice and undermining of democracy.
Berisha told America: You condemned me, but I have fans. Which in fact he didn't have and doesn't have, but he engineered them, mobilized them, financed them. Of course, sometimes with seduction, sometimes with money, sometimes with disdain.
Sali Berisha's pulpit, where Belind Këlliçi is one of the main names, was a political act against the real, official, structural DP. With the objective of establishing a new DP from the doctor's fans. who of course has fans, but as political history has shown, they do not have them in the DP electorate but only in their factions and corridors over the years. Who in reality have no connection with the Albanian right.
The court history of the pulpit, although it represents an interesting karmic event; the lawsuit of Gaz Bardhi and Belinda, who is called into question in the case, is unlikely to produce a criminal offense. Although there is much inside, the pulpit is an important political and even geopolitical story.
It represents the revolt of a leader sanctioned by the US against the world's greatest power, letting it know that he has the people with him to challenge him. Which was actually a deception; Sali Berisha did not have and does not have the people with him against the US. Later, when Berisha saw that he did not achieve this, he paid millions of US dollars (said to be 6 or 8) to remove the American stain but it did not work.
However, the history of the pulpit is still poor, as it has even deeper roots.
