From a one-on-one meeting with Netanyahu to a speech in the Knesset/ Rama's official visit to Israel, the Prime Minister's agenda is revealed
Prime Minister Edi Rama will pay a working visit to Jerusalem, Israel, on January 25-27, on the occasion of his participation in the International Conference on Combating Anti-Semitism.
On this visit, Rama will be accompanied by the Albanian delegation and his wife.
On Monday, January 26, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, Prime Minister Rama will hold a one-on-one meeting with the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, which will be followed by a meeting between the two delegations, at the end of which there will be a press statement.
In parallel, Linda Rama, in the company of Mrs. Herzog, wife of the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog, will visit the National Library.
At 2:00 PM, Prime Minister Rama, accompanied by Ms. Linda Rama, will arrive at the Knesset “Plaza”, the Parliament of Israel, where he will be welcomed with a special state ceremony by the Speaker of the Knesset. The ceremony includes guards of honor, the performance of national anthems, and the laying of wreaths at the monument to fallen soldiers and the monument to victims of terror.
Afterwards, Prime Minister Rama will sign the Book of Impressions in the Chagall Hall.
At 2:30 PM, Prime Minister Rama and the Albanian delegation will hold a meeting with the Speaker of the Knesset, Mr. Amir Ohana.
At 16:15, a special plenary session of the Knesset will begin, accompanied by a ceremonial entrance into the hall. During this session, the Speaker of the Knesset, Mr. Amir Ohana, the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Leader of the Opposition, Yair Lapid, as well as Prime Minister Edi Rama, who will address the Israeli Parliament with a speech, will speak.
At 5:15 PM, an official reception will be held in honor of Prime Minister Rama, with the participation of ambassadors and special guests, at the Jerusalem Hall of the Knesset.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Linda Rama will have a special meeting with women parliamentarians.
On January 27, Prime Minister Edi Rama will participate in the International Conference on the Fight against Antisemitism, where he will deliver a speech, in the presence of the President of Israel, Isaac Herzog.
During his stay in Jerusalem, Prime Minister Rama will also make symbolic visits to the Western Wall and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
