"Rama has threatened them several times, but..."/ Dervishi reveals:

Journalist Ferdinand Dervishi, invited to the studio of the show "Kjo Javë", has made strong statements regarding the relationship between Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Special Structure against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK).

According to Dervishi, Prime Minister Rama has exerted pressure on SPAK not to touch his phone and other personal elements, attempting to impose limits on the investigations. “Rama has threatened SPAK not to touch his phone,” the journalist stated, without providing further details on the form of these threats.

He also touched on the public debates that, according to him, try to justify the lack of investigations against the prime minister with the argument that power gained by vote should not be shaken. "There are some logics that are spoken about that the power of someone who was taken by vote cannot be overthrown," said Dervishi, describing this as a misunderstanding of the principles of the rule of law.

The journalist emphasized that SPAK has a legal obligation to investigate every high-ranking official, including the prime minister, regardless of function or political position. “SPAK investigates the prime minister and there is no reason not to investigate him,” he said, adding that equality before the law is the foundation of justice reform.
