"Go and get loans", Rama meets with Divjaka farmers: We have made 250 million euros available, another 1 billion can be made

Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting this Friday with the farmers of Divjaka.
Rama said that the state has made 250 million euros available for agriculture, while he called on farmers to use it and turn to the Bank of Albania to obtain loans.
He also called on the local government to cooperate more with farmers and agriculturists.
" We have made 250 million euros available for agriculture, which could reach 1 billion if consumed. Through the Bank, everyone can go and get loans with state guarantees at very low rates."
Very little has been used of this opportunity because to use it, it seems like preparing a file to go to the bank. Municipalities should be much more active with farmers to address this financing.
"Municipalities and you can create joint structures, joint companies to receive these funds, which are there and waiting ," Rama said.
