Journalist Klodiana Lala, invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, spoke about Erion Veliaj's threats and insults towards the prosecutor who is investigating him, Ols Dado. 

Lala said that this is Veliaj's strategy, that the prosecutor will sue him after the threat and then be forced to give up on investigating Veliaj, but added that Ols Dado has not budged to the pressure so far. 

Lala also spoke about an audio clip circulating in the media close to Veliaj, where it is alleged that the prosecutor called the mayor "filth", a fact that was categorically denied by SPAK and the court. The journalist said that charges of forgery could also be brought against Veliaj. 

" Veliaj's language is unacceptable, but it is strategic. Threatening the prosecutor is a criminal offense, which is followed by a complaint from the prosecutor. If Ols Dado addresses the institutions, he should resign and leave the case. Veliaj is pursuing this strategy to force the prosecutor to leave. So far, Ols Dado has withstood the pressures. The language is certainly unacceptable.

Veliaj claimed today, he released a transcript where it is alleged that during the security measure hearing, the prosecutor called him "filth". Veliaj claims that he has uncovered this from the audio. The prosecution and the court denied this fact, at no point during the listening to the audio, does it appear that the prosecutor used this expression. There is an unclear audio version, but the special prosecution and the court are looking into the possibility of filing a new charge for forgery. The audio will be subjected to an expert report under suspicion of possible interference. The special court has the original audio. If he has manipulated, there may be a new charge against Mr. Vrliaj.

"The system is easily verifiable if there is interference, this is the prosecutors' strategy ," said Lala.
