Protesters block the road to Zogu i Zi, clash with police at the "Qemal Stafa" high school.

A group of protesters blocked Zogu i Zi for several minutes today in protest against the political class in the country. Traffic was blocked for several minutes, while police reportedly escorted some protesters. The protest started at Skanderbeg Square, then continued along Durrës Street, to Zogu i Zi.

One of the activists of this protest, Bora Mitrovica, made accusations against the police, accusing the latter of having used violence against the protesters. In a statement to the media, she said that the police had forcibly pushed and pulled all of them and then escorted them away. The clashes with the police were recorded near the "Qemal Stafa" school.

" Today we gathered at Skanderbeg Square at 7:00 in the morning. We were walking on the sidewalks. We were singing the anthem, and then the police intervened. They started to forcefully take and put their hands on the throats of some of the boys who were part of the protest. When we crossed the street here, they went and caught all the boys. These people want violence, we are for calm, for peace.
We wanted to hold a protest during the day so that the citizens could see, because at night the people are no longer representing us. This is not justice, this is criminal behavior on the part of the State Police. "This is the police of the government, who defend violence, Rama, who is a coward ," said Mitrovica.
