"Partizani" file, court hearing for Berisha postponed

The hearing at the GJKKO for the "Partizani" file, where the defendant is Sali Berisha, has been postponed to September 28.
The reason for the postponement was reportedly a boycott by lawyers, who oppose the GJKKO regulation that does not allow the use of phones in court premises.
Despite the fact that the regulation does not allow phones for anyone, it was noticed during the session that the trio of judges had phones.
In the "Partizani" file, Sali Berisha is accused by SPAK of "passive corruption of senior state officials", in collaboration.
According to the indictment, during his time as prime minister, Berisha is suspected of having used his state function and authority to favor his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltez, in the process related to the properties of the former "Partizani" sports complex.
The prosecution claims that Berisha intervened through decisions, legal and administrative acts, which helped create the conditions for the return and privatization of the properties, as well as for their subsequent development by Malltezi.
