Albanian resistance! Citizens start organizing in the square, demanding the

The 112th protest against the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama began this Saturday in Tirana. Citizens gathered at Skanderbeg Square, from where they began a march towards the Prime Minister's Office.

The protest has been going on for 112 days and the participants reiterate their demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the government. In recent rallies, the protesters have used banners and slogans against the government, while warning that the action will continue in the coming days.

In the 111th protest, held the day before, citizens first gathered at Skanderbeg Square and then marched towards the Prime Minister's Office. Among the chants heard were "Edi Rama, resign," while the protesters declared that they will not stop until their demands are met.

In addition to the resignation of the prime minister and the government, the organizers have also articulated other political demands. Among them are the creation of a technical, transitional and non-partisan government with a 12-month mandate, changes to the constitutional and electoral framework, as well as the revision or repeal of several legal amendments, including those related to strategic investments, protected areas and the so-called "Mountain Package".

In previous days, protests have also been accompanied by marches on some of Tirana's axes and, in some cases, temporary traffic blockages. In the 105th protest, diaspora participants joined the rally, while the protest continued for several hours in the area around the Prime Minister's Office.

Today's protest is expected to continue with speeches in front of the Prime Minister's Office building and with the participants' demands being reiterated.

Citizens and activists have declared that they will continue the daily protests, linking their end to the fulfillment of the demands articulated by the organizers.
