Activist Mirjan Aliaj has called for a protest on October 8, the day when the new territorial map proposed by the government is expected to be voted on in the Assembly.
During his speech, Aliaj appealed to citizens to gather in front of the Parliament if the government's proposal does not change.
According to the activist, the issue is being tried to be kept quiet, while he described the publication of the wiretaps as an “alarm bell” for citizens.
“On October 8, the new territorial map that Rama’s government has proposed is expected to be voted on. I call on every citizen, that on October 8, if the government’s plan does not change, to gather in front of the Assembly of the Republic so that we do not allow Rama to dissolve the municipalities. I call on all the small municipalities that are part of this plan, that on October 8, we are in the Assembly of the Republic and that we do not allow these deputies who act against the popular will not to change the map,” said activist Mirjan Aliaj, among other things.
