Cinema in mourning! The famous actress of the film "Home Alone" passes away

Her manager confirmed the news of the passing of the actress, who was suffering from an illness.
O'Hara began her career in comedy in the 1970s and helped create the Canadian sketch show SCTV. She entered the film industry in the 1980s with her first big screen role in the romantic comedy Nothing Personal with Donald Sutherland, and in 1985 she had a role in Martin Scorsese's black comedy After Hours.
O'Hara played Macaulay Culkin's mother in the 1990 hit comedy Home Alone, a role she reprised for the 1992 sequel.
She began working with Christopher Guest in 1996, playing leading roles in the mockumentary documentary "Waiting for Guffman" and starring in three of his other films: "Best in Show", "A Mighty Wind" and "For Your Consideration".
O'Hara was most recently seen in the award-winning comedy series The Studio.
