Week 18 of the First Category/ Laçi, Lushnja, Burreli & Kastrioti win. Skënderbeu ends in a draw

The First Category Championship held its 18th week matches this Saturday, with six matches that brought rivalry, goals and emotions to every stadium.

Five matches were played in parallel at 1:30 PM. Laçi triumphed at home, defeating Kukës with a score of 2-1. In Pogradec, the locals and Besa were divided in a goalless draw, in a match fought until the end.

Kastrioti recorded an important away win over Iliria with a score of 1-0, while Lushnja defeated Korab 2-0. In Burrel, the locals secured three valuable points after a 2-0 victory over Apolonia.

The last match of the week took place in Korça at 16:00, where Skënderbeu and AF Luftëtari drew 1-1, in a strong and high-paced match until the last minutes.

After the end of the 18th week, Skënderbeu leads the standings with 41 points, while Laçi holds second place with 36 points.
