Illegal possession of firearms/ 644 cases in 15 months, here is the most problematic age

The phenomenon of illegal possession of weapons has been on the rise recently, becoming a concern for the State Police. In the last 15 months alone, 644 cases have been registered across the country and 406 people have been arrested for this criminal offense.
According to the data, Tirana is the city with the most recorded cases. It is followed by Shkodra and Vlora. The most problematic age of the arrested persons is 30 to 44 years old. There is also no shortage of minors under 14 years old, arrested for this criminal offense.
Most of the weapons seized by the Police are old, but recently there has been no shortage of new weapons. These weapons enter our country from abroad, which is also confirmed by the blue uniforms.
Officially, the police told Tv Klan that although there is no line of entry into Albania of weapons and ammunition, there are criminal groups that have been hit by the authorities after attempting to enter or traffic weapons and ammunition from Kosovo, but not only. / Tv Klan
