New details have come to light regarding the self-poisoning of Xhuana Nikolli, a 25-year-old from Lezha, who passed away the day before at the QSUT, while her family members have filed a report at Police Station No. 2 against her ex-partner, Eraldo Fizi.

Eraldo Fizi, wanted by the police, returned from abroad on February 9. On the same day, he met his ex-wife, Xhuana Nikolli, from whom he had divorced just three months after their marriage in June 2025, and is suspected of having exercised physical violence against her.

Following the serious incident, the police conducted an examination of the body of the 25-year-old woman, who ended her life by consuming phosphoxin. During the examination, serious signs of violence were found on the head, face and one arm.

In the complaint filed by the family, they claim that the young woman was brutally raped by Fizi.

Before committing the fatal act, the 25-year-old had also left a letter. According to sources, in it she wrote that she no longer wanted those people who had hurt her to continue to hurt her. At the end of the letter, she apologized to her mother and father.
