Trezeguet advises Juve: Vlahovic is not good, I would take Lewandowski in my arms!

David Trezeguet remains one of the biggest names in Juventus history. The former French striker, who for years was synonymous with goals for the Bianconeri, spoke in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, where he analyzed the current situation of the Turin club.
According to Trezeguet, the lack of a championship title for such a long period is not normal for a club with Juventus' history.
"At Juventus they asked me for goals to make the team win and I think that hasn't changed today either. The title has been missing for 6 years and for a club like Juve that's a lot," he said.
When asked about the performance of the current strikers, the former world champion was critical of Dusan Vlahovic. The Frenchman admitted that he expected much more from the Serbian striker.
"It is not yet clear whether he is a worthy number 9 for Juventus. There was optimism about him: he is Serbian and he reminded me of Darko Kovacević. At Fiorentina he scored a lot of goals, but the black and white shirt is different. He is still talked about as a promise and that means something is not working," Trezeguet stressed.
The 48-year-old did not want to dwell too much on the issue of renewing the Serbian striker's contract, but he also gave an unexpected suggestion to Juventus leaders regarding a possible reinforcement in attack.
"I would go for Robert Lewandowski. He is in a different category, even though he is 37 years old. He is strong and very intelligent on the pitch. I would bring him to Turin on the wing," he declared.
