The State Health Inspectorate carries out 24 thousand checks: Focus on sectors

Over 24 thousand inspections were conducted during 2025 by the State Health Inspectorate, as part of the control of standards in health services and the tourism sector.

During a roundtable discussion with the heads of regional inspectorates, Chief Inspector General Dashnor Sula stated that field inspections during 2026 will be further intensified.

"It has to do with hospital healthcare, which is problematic at certain times and it is the health inspection body that must show maximum care, the dental service, tourism for which it must offer maximum security also as a result of the high number of tourists," said Chief Inspector Sula.

In the inspections carried out during 2025, 1305 administrative measures were taken, of which 53 were fines and 1225 were warnings. Chief Inspector Sula called on inspectors to enforce the law and not tolerate any violations, emphasizing that control will increasingly focus on sectors where the risk to public health is greatest.
