Katia Bano: My son, a policeman who served the state, rests in his grave, the murderer is free today in England! Klentin was executed by Aldo Bare's gang in 2020

Katia Bano, the mother of Klenti Bano, a criminal police officer in Lushnja who was killed in a mafia assassination in 2000, after investigating the activities of the Lushnja gang, has spoken to the British newspaper 'the Sun'. This newspaper a few days ago revealed how Maksim Çela, one of the members of the Lushnja gang, had entered England with a false passport and was seeking asylum with the argument that his life was in danger in Albania.
Katia Bano, a retired maths teacher, 77, tearfully told how her son was executed by men sent by Çela. The latter, 59, is fighting to stay in the UK on the grounds that he is at risk from rival gangs in his homeland.
"I am amazed that Maksim Cela managed to enter Britain and that my son's killer is now free there. He should have spent his life in prison for killing an innocent man who served the state. I don't understand why he is tolerated in Britain. It saddens me immensely that he has a new life there, while my son rests in his grave ," she says, writes the Sun.
Cela continues to walk the streets of Britain freely, while fighting to remain in the country, using arguments based on human rights.
The Sun exclusively revealed - after a two-year court battle to lift the ban on his name - that Maksim Çela took refuge in the UK just five days after serving half of a 25-year prison sentence.
