Albanian man shot dead in Italy

An Albanian man has been injured in a gunfight in Italy. The young man was shot by his business partner, as both are suspected of being members of a criminal clan in the Naples area, involved in drug trafficking.

Italian police reported that they arrested both people, the injured young man, who lied in his testimony by reporting the injury in the robbery, and the perpetrator who shot him in an attempt to kill him.

The incident reported as an injury during a robbery did not turn out to be such after investigation, but rather the result of a conflict with a member of a criminal group affiliated with the Mallardo clan, at the height of a fight over drug debts.
