Battle for Kuçova tomorrow in KAS, Maliqi: Hajdari is ending his mandate

Former MP Lefter Maliqi has reacted through a post on social networks on the eve of the August 27 session of the Complaints and Sanctions Commission (KAS), where the issue related to the mandate of the mayor of Kuçova, Kreshnik Hajdari, is expected to be reviewed.

Maliqi writes that he is awaiting a final decision from the KAS, while accusing Hajdari of ending his mandate in violation of the decriminalization law. He compares the case to that of the former mayor of Vora, Agim Kajmaku, whose mandate was declared invalid.

In his reaction, Maliqi also lists the long legal battle over this issue, mentioning complaints to the CEC, KAS, the Electoral College, SPAK, and various courts.

Full reaction:

Public trial! Announcement! Tomorrow, the 27th, at 11:00, at the CEC, the KAS will make the final decision on the case of the convicted, incompetent and abusive Hajdari, at the head of the plundered Municipality of Kuçova.

Although some decisions made by the KAS are correct, I should not prejudge the decision. But I am convinced that they will issue a decision in violation of the decriminalization law, where Hajdari is ending his term in flagrant violation of the law. His case is the same as that of Kajmak of the Municipality of Vora, where his term as mayor was declared invalid.

It took almost 4 years of complaints, reports, lawsuits everywhere: to the CEC, KAS, the Electoral College, SPAK, GJKKO, the Administrative Court, the Court of Berat, the Supreme Court, with several appeals: 5 times to the KAS, 4 times to the CEC, 3 times to the Electoral College, etc.

And Hajdari, with political, oligarchic support, lobbying, with citizen taxes, with the former Attorney General as his defender, etc., continues his duty; he defends himself for corrupt tenders, for the clientelist interests of Rilindja and construction firms.

Regardless of tomorrow's decision at the KAS, I assure you that I will continue the legal, moral and political battle until the end.

We will win back the looted municipality of Kuçova, return it to its citizens, and turn it into a construction site, an example for the country.

Hajdari, as soon as he is removed from office, will answer and, as soon as he is removed, everyone will see it and the abuses and extortions will come to light. The people's money, sooner or later, will come out of your nose!

The donated and stolen chair is not happy; serious consequences follow!
